For the Paris 2024 Summer Games, the women's and men's handball tournaments will run from July 25 to August 11. Preliminary matches will be held at Paris Sud 6 Arena for qualifications, with the final phases taking place at Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Lille. The format, consistent since 2000 for men and 2008 for women, involves twelve teams in two groups engaging in round-robin play, followed by knockout matches for the top eight, starting with the quarterfinals and concluding with the final and bronze match.
