Grand Prairie Stadium is a cricket ground and former stadium in Grand Prairie, Texas. Opened in May 2008, it served as the home stadium of the American Professional Baseball Association's Texas AirHogs from 2008 to 2019 and USL League Two soccer team Texas United from 2017 to 2019.
Following the closure of the AirHogs in October 2020, it was announced that American Cricket Enterprises—a commercial partner of USA Cricket—had acquired the lease of the AirHogs stadium and planned to redevelop the stadium as a cricket ground. A $20 million renovation began in April 2022, after which the stadium hosted the Texas Super Kings in Major League Cricket's domestic T20 league. The stadium also serves as the home and training base for the US National Team.
The Netherlands T20 World Cup team, commonly referred to as the "Flying Dutchmen", is the team that represents the Netherlands in international men's cricket and is managed by the Royal Dutch Cricket Association. After a decisive victory over South Africa and with some help from Pakistan and India, the Netherlands finished 4th in their Super 12 group at the T20 World Cup. With this, they confirmed their place in the T20 World Cup 2024, which will be held in the USA and West Indies.
In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full T20 World Cup status to all its members. As such, all Twenty20 matches played between the Netherlands and other ICC members after 1 January 2019 have full T20I status.
